We are pending accreditation by the California Bureau for Private Post-Secondary & Vocational Education, California State Board of Barbering & Cosmetology, and the United States Department of Education.

What are the school hours?

Day classes are held Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 2:30PM. Night classes are from Monday through Thursday 6PM to 10PM and Saturday from 8:30AM to 5PM.

How do you qualify for financial aid?

In order to see if an individual qualifies for financial aid, we look at previous year’s income. Individuals with lower income typically qualify for more financial aid (amounts are determined by the U.S. Department of Education) but situations vary on a case by case basis. Contact your local campus Financial Aid officer for details.

How soon can I start?

Courses start every Monday, so you can enroll this week and begin your training the very next week.

Will I get to practice on real people?

Yes! Once you complete enough hours to become a senior student, you will perform a wide variety of services on real customers. You may also participate in charity events and competitions.

Are there any other benefits of becoming a student?

Yes! There are many other perks you will receive as a WBI student, such as discounts on beauty supplies, public transportation passes, and movie tickets. Additionally, every student is eligible for a free monthly service of their choice (hair styling, manicure/pedicure, facials, etc).

Do I need a high school diploma to enroll?

Yes, you will need a high school diploma or a GED equivalent to enroll. If you do not have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, we can help you find a tutoring program in your area to help prepare you for the GED exam. Contact us to receive additional information.

How do I apply?

To apply, fill out the brief information sheet on the Enrollment page and our admissions staff will contact you shortly to set up an enrollment interview.

Does WBI do events?
