When I lived with my parents, my Mom told me I wasn’t allowed to dye my hair under any circumstances. She also said no tattoos, curfew at 11, and finish your homework before you could do anything else. I had a good Mom; she didn’t take no mess.
But now that I’m older, I’ve had purple hair, pink hair, and even some crazy blonde streaks. I think even my Mom had to admit; I looked cute. But, I have never made the MISTAKE of trying to dye my hair myself.
The idea has crossed all of our minds. We see a kit in the grocery store. It looks easy, just ‘add water’ it says. I had a friend who just ‘added water’ and ended up losing hair. It wasn’t pretty.
If you’re thinking of doing this, stop do not pass go and do not collect $200. There are some hair styles that need to be performed by the professionals.
At WBI, we teach our students how to dye hair the right away, so hair doesn’t die in the process. It is possible to have gorgeous, beautiful hair that’s a little different than what we were born with. Just ask Emma Stone, she was born a blonde.
