Every once in a while, it’s nice to give the expensive beauty care products a break and make use of some of those kitchen ingredients living in your pantry and refrigerator! It’s no secret anymore that many food items (you probably already have) contain many beauty and skin care benefits that keep you feeling great, inside and out! Here are some of my favorite homemade face mask recipes that will your skin glowing as bright as the sun during this hot summer:


Tomato Juice & Coconut Milk

This may sound like an odd combination but together, tomato juice and coconut milk are a powerhouse mix to brighten skin overnight! Tomatoes balance the pH levels of your skin and tighten your pores, which reduces skin irritation and clears acne. Coconut milk is ultra moisturizing and improves skin elasticity, leaving you with a youthful texture to your face.


What you need: 1tbsp of tomato juice and 2tbsp of coconut milk


Lemon Juice & Yogurt

Another combination you may not want to eat together but work wonders for achieving luminous, glowing skin! Yogurt helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles and lemons are rich in vitamin C & citric acid which brightens skin over time with consistent use.


What you need: 2 tsp of lemon juice and 2tbsp of yogurt


Coffee Grounds & Honey

These two kitchen staples will help you maintain a youthful appearance by giving you firm skin! Honey is a magical ingredient that can help to reduce scarring and increase tissue regeneration. Coffee grounds can help temporarily lessen the appearance of cellulite and of course, provides a natural exfoliation to remove dead skin and leave your skin smooth and irresistible!


What you need: 2 tbsp of coffee grounds & 2 tbsp of honey
